Pam started Events by Pam at the encouragement of family and friends who saw that she had a natural creative flair for event planning along with flawless execution and a sharp eye for details. Pam has grown the company from a hobby into a full-service successful event planning company. Together with her family, Pam has over 10 years of entertainment and planning experience, along with a sincere passion to deliver unbelievable and unforgettable events.

Pam’s Passion
I always had a strong passion and talent for planning special events and a true desire to work with people. My professional experience as an event planner began in the corporate realm as event coordinator for several well-known Michigan companies. The knowledge and experience I gained from these endeavors was invaluable. It allowed me to possess a well-rounded knowledge and understanding of the industry and to develop priceless relationships with many amazing vendors.
After planning my own wedding in 2006, it wasn’t long before I had friends and family enlisting me and referring me to others to assist and plan their weddings. The most rewarding part of being a wedding coordinator is having the opportunity and pleasure to work so closely with couples and their families during such a happy time in their lives. I have had the honor and privilege to have worked with many couples to make their visions come to life. I’ve found that I truly love designing unique and beautiful weddings that reflect each couple’s own personal styles and that are as unique as they are. It makes my job very rewarding and puts a smile on my face every day.
My love of the Polynesian culture started at the tender age of 15 months. As the story goes, I put on a grass skirt and ran on stage to join my mother and grandmother as they were performing and have been dancing ever since. My grandmother, Frances Price, founded the Michigan based Polynesian Fantasy Dancers over 40 years ago and I grew up training and performing with this group, of which I am now the Assistant Director and Choreographer. I trained intensively in the all aspects of the Polynesian culture from dancing and movements to traditions and rituals. Now one of my passions is to take my knowledge and love of the Polynesian culture to create authentic and memorable events and weddings. From food and decorations to dancing and entertainment, I have everything at my fingertips to create an Aloha experience like no other. In September I hosted my first destination wedding in Maui and it was amazing!! Aloha Events by Pam has quickly become one of my most sot after services.
